Richard Sealebach
Based on the Sealbach cocktail, but with R.L. Seale rum.
The Smuggler's Cover recipe uses R.L. Seale 10 Year. Currently, that is exclusive to Total Wine stores in the U.S. and even then, only those in states without ABC stores (aka. not available where I live). I'd bet any other quality Barbados rum would also be just fine and only the pickiest of us with the most finely attuned sense of taste would ever know the difference. R.L. Seale 12 Year is available, but is far more expensive than R.L. Seale 10 Year.
In descending order of price, other options would be Real McCoy 12 Year (likely the next closest, being a Foursquare release and so Richard Seale is still the master distiller), Mount Gay Black Barrel (aged 3-7 years in American Whiskey casks and then 6 months in heavily charred Bourbon casks), Real McCoy 5 Year (similar age to Mount Gay Black Barrel average age, probably), and Mount Gay Eclipse.
