A rye based riff on the old Aviation cocktail. I found this too sweet, with the maraschino liqueur too strong, but added 1/4 oz or so (I just poured a tiny bit in) of Green Chartreuse and it was fantastic.

- add Rye, Maraschino liqueur, and lemon juice to mixing tin and shake with ice
- strain into chilled cocktail glass
- garnish with brandied cherries and mint sprig
