You can find recipes for this using both a filtered/white rum or one with a bit of age, even as much as Bacardi 8 Year, so use whatever rum you like here.

| Demerara Syrup 2:1 | 1⁄2 Fl. Oz. | |
| Apricot Liqueur | 1⁄2 Fl. Oz. | |
| Lightly Aged / Filtered Rum | 1 1⁄2 Fl. Oz. | SC Category 2 - Blended Lightly Aged. This is mostly rums which fit Minimalist Tiki Lightly Aged/Filtered, but does include a few which are not filtered. |
Directions
- Muddle pineapple chunks with lime juice and simple syrup in cocktail shaker
- Add remaining ingredients and shake with cracked or cubed ice
- Double strain into chilled coupe
