This one is very interesting. I'm not a big fan of cucumber generally, but it made an interesting combo with the Chartreuse.
Ingredients
Ingredient | Amount | Notes |
---|---|---|
Cucumber Slice | 1 | About 1 inch thick |
Lime Juice | 3⁄4 Fl. Oz. | |
Lemon Juice | 3⁄4 Fl. Oz. | |
Cinnamon Syrup | 3⁄4 Fl. Oz. | |
Green Chartreuse | 3⁄4 Fl. Oz. | |
Falernum | 3⁄4 Fl. Oz. | A Falernum syrup is used to make this at Dirty Dick rather than an alcoholic Falernum. |
Lightly Aged / Filtered Rum | 1 1⁄4 Fl. Oz. |
Directions
- Cut cucumber slice in quarters and muddle in shaker tin.
- Build all remaining ingredients in shaker
- Fill to top with cubed ice
- Shake in front of mirror and look sexy for ten seconds. That is straight from the drink's creator. I am pretty sure the mirror and looking sexy are key to this tasting good.
- Strain into highball glass full of cubed ice
- Garnish with mint sprigs, cucumber zest, cinnamon stick, and powdered sugar on the mint. I am way too lazy for all of that.
