Cherry Mixture Cocktail
A Manhattan for when you maybe shouldn't have a Manhattan. I love this. It hits all of the same flavor notes, but has a lower ABV for when I just want the flavor.
Ingredients
Ingredient | Amount | Notes |
---|---|---|
Angostura Bitters | 2 dash | Recipe says "big dash aromatic bitters". Aromatic bitters usually, but not always, means Angostura. Dash sizes vary depending on dasher bottle and volume in the bottle. |
Maraschino Liqueur | 1 dash | |
Dry Vermouth | 2 Fl. Oz. | Noilly Pratt |
Sweet Vermouth | 2 Fl. Oz. | Carpano Antica, because that's what all of the cool cocktails use. I use Cinzano. |
Directions
- Stir all ingredients with ice
- Strain into chilled Old Fahioned glass
- Garnish with real (not those crazy, super sweet things we get on top of ice cream sundaes) Maraschino cherries.
